BOYS WRITE NOW WORKSHOP-16 Bars: Writing Hip-Hop

826michigan is partnering with Scholastic Publishing this Saturday to present a special writing workshop for boys grades 7-12 at the Main Branch of the Detroit Public Library.       


This special, one time only workshop, will celebrate the development of the MC. Featuring hip-hop due Passalacqua and teacher/DJ Charlie Nanos (DJ Nano), participants can expect to create poetry with people deeply connected to hip- hop as an art form.
