Join the Detroit Public Library and First Container as we host author Mark Binelli at the new First Container located in the Eastern Market. Come hang out with the author of Detroit City is the Place to Be as he reads from his book and discusses the experiences that inspired it.

The free event takes place on Saturday, June 22 from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Get Your Free Copy of Detroit City is the Place to Be!

First five people that “check into” First Container on Foursquare will receive a free book!  The first five people that post a picture to Facebook or Twitter from the event will also get a free copy of the book (#DPL@Firstcontainer)!  But that’s not all … we will also give-a-way a few copies of the book at the event to people who share their short Detroit story.
So check us out at First Container located near Shed 5, across from Detroit Future City Homebase.
