History
The Lincoln Branch of the Detroit Public Library was opened in its present location on October 29, 1951. It is named for the sixteenth President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln.

The library provides services for all ages, including books, magazines, newspapers, CDs, DVDs and computer access. Bus Schedules, Student Financial Aid packets and Tax Forms (seasonally) are available upon request. The Lincoln Branch serves the near east side. It is right off of I-75 North and East 7 Mile Road and Russell Street.
