Request for Proposals, Quotations and Bids

The Detroit Public Library Commission seeks Requests for Proposals, Bids and Request for Quotations from vendors to supply goods and services throughout the year. Forms are available from this website and may be printed by interested vendors. Forms are also available at the Purchasing Department located at the Main Library, 5201 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Michigan  48202.

All responses to the Request for Proposal, Quotations and Bids must be received in the Purchasing Department, in a sealed package, by the date and time shown on the documents. Faxed copies will not be accepted. Packages received after that date and time will not be accepted.

NOTICE TO ALL VENDORS:

The Purchasing Department requires that all interested vendors, who are downloading or printing bids or Request for Proposals, register with the Purchasing Office at (313) 481-1325. In the phone call:

  • Identify the project on which you are bidding
  • The name of the company you represent
  • The phone number at which you can be reached

This information will be used to prepare for the Bid Opening and to further develop vendor lists.

If you call and receive voice mail, leave a message providing the information requested above.
