Technology, Literacy, and Career Center at Parkman Branch (TLC)


Parkman TLC Center is an adult learning center that offers computer skills training, one to one tutoring in literacy, small group math class, resume help, job searching and job leads.

Computer Access

Parkman TLC Center has 20 untimed computers and up to 5 pages of printing service.

Who is eligible to use the TLC Center?

To qualify to use Parkman TLC Center, 100% of your time needs to be spent on any combination of the following:

  • Job search or career and employment activities
  • Resume preparation
  • Literacy improvement (must be enrolled in our program)
  • Math improvement (must be enrolled in our program)
  • Small group and one on one math tutoring
  • GED or other test prep activities
  • Computer classes
  • CyberSeniors

Circulating Book Materials

Books are available for checkout on the following subjects:  low and intermediate adult literacy, math improvement, test prep, careers and job search, business and entrepreneurship, and computer software.
